Mission Statement

This blog is dedicated to families who believe that having kids doesn't mean the adventure has to be over.  I was a pretty adventurous budget traveller before having children- hitching a ride through the Himalayas on top of a mango truck adventurous- and my dream of family always involved exposing my kiddo to the wonders of the world.  Before having my baby, travel was the greatest joy in my life.  Now, keeping him alive and healthy is my greatest joy in life.  But I don't think the two are mutually exclusive.  Planning travels as a mom, I have wished for more information on how to combine my two greatest joys.  I have especially wished for more resources for people who enjoy off-the-beaten path travel with their children.  Here is my attempt to add a bit of adventure to this tiny corner of the internet.  Happy travels!
